To call Ho’olei 39-3 “spectacular” doesn’t do this three-bedroom, two-story villa justice. From the luxurious furnishings to the awe-inspiring sunsets over the ocean visible from the spacious lanais, everything about this 2,700-square-foot haven is of a five-star standard. What’s more, the resort has a swimming pool you have to see to believe, and Wailea Beach is only a ten-minute stroll away.
The great room of Ho’olei 39-3 is truly worthy of the name. It flows seamlessly out onto a covered lanai, though you can close off the room when desired. The indoor sitting area is furnished in lush blues and creams that complement the vistas just beyond the lanai. When you’re not gazing out at the ocean, the mountains, and the endless skies, you can turn your attention to the large HDTV.
There’s an indoor dining area too, with a handsome table that seats 8. Chances are, though, you’ll want to dine out on the lanai whenever possible. Overlooking the resort with a clear view of the ocean, it is furnished as beautifully as the indoor spaces, with its own large dining table that seats six as well as two chic chaises. Make a point of timing at least some of your meals to coincide with the fiery sunsets for a sensory experience you’ll long cherish. If the ocean breezes aren’t enough to keep you cool, the ceiling fans certainly will.
The lanai includes a 36” Wolf gas grill and a Sub-Zero under-counter refrigerator. Just a few steps away, however, is the gourmet indoor kitchen. With its 30” Wolf gas grill and stove, 30” Wolf oven and microwave, twin 27” Sub-Zero refrigerators with freezer drawers and icemaker, Italian cabinetry, and gleaming countertops, Ho’olei 39-3’s kitchen will have you looking forward to preparing meals. It also helps that you can gaze out at the Pacific as you cook. What’s more, there’s a breakfast bar that seats six, so that the others can keep you company and help with the slicing and dicing.
Along with the great room and kitchen, the main floor includes one of the villa’s three en-suite bedrooms. Furnished with a pair of queen-size beds, this room can sleep four people. It also features a flat-screen TV with a DVD player and a walk-in shower in its private bathroom.
The other two bedrooms and bathrooms are on the lower level. The master suite is a retreat in and of itself. Like the great room, it opens onto a lanai with an ocean view. Enjoy a romantic nightcap in the silvery moonlight—the bedroom has its own minibar with a Sub-Zero refrigerator to keep your prosecco chilled—then slip into your king-size bed. This room boasts a walk-in closet, a TV with DVD player, and a lavish bathroom with both a soaking tub and a walk-in shower.
The third bedroom also qualifies as a master suite, with a king-size bed, a flat-screen TV with DVD player, a private bathroom, and its own covered and furnished lanai. A fabulous night’s sleep is all but guaranteed. Also on the lower level is Ho’olei 39-3’s private laundry room and garage.
The rest of the resort hews to the same grand standard as unit 39-3. Amid the lushly landscaped grounds is a pool with a 19-foot waterfall among towering palm trees. There’s a special children’s section too, as well as two whirlpool spas. During your stay, you can exercise in Ho’olei’s state-of-the-art gym, which includes cardiovascular and weight-training equipment and men’s and women’s saunas. After your workout, treat yourself to a poolside massage for the ultimate in pampering.
And then there’s the pristine Wailea Beach. What a delight to be able to walk to one of the world’s best beaches anytime you like. When you’re not lazing on the sand watching for dolphins and whales, you can swim, body surf, and snorkel in its sparkling waters.
Ho’olei 39-3 is a one-of-a-kind haven for a one-of-a-kind vacation. Don’t miss out; book your stay today. |
Our family of 4 adults and a four year old and a 4 month old spent a delightful 10 days at this property. We went to the beach on 5 mornings when the water was calmer and to the condo development's swimming pool every afternoon. The unit has lots of beach equipment and sand toys and we made good use of it including a Puddle Jumper for the 4 year old. We rented a high chair and baby swing from Maui Baby Rentals and the items were in the unit when we arrived. This was very convenient since we arrived at 10:30pm. We had a very useful personal briefing on the unit by Kelly the day after we arrived. One of the reasons we rented this unit was its view of the setting sun. We ate all our meals in the lanai and enjied watching the sunset during every dinner. The kitchen is very well supplied ie lots of small appliances, spices, staples, etc. We ate all our meals in and especially appreciated the BBQ on the lanai which we used for about half of our dinners. Others features of the unit worked as advertised ie wireless Internet, digital TV and dual control A/C. We had a rental vehucle which was useful to get all the supplied each gear down to Wailea Beach Park. We also did morning excursions to the Maui Ocean Center and the Surfing Goat Dairy with the 4 year old. Both highly recommended. We would definitely rent this unit again!!
Upscale property, very well maintained and in a perfect location. We will come back.
My family truly loved this condo. Everything was perfect and very comfortable, especially the beds. The sunsets were beautiful. The pool and weight room were amazing. We loved how you can just walk to the beach or pool. This is a must for any family. LOVED THE PORCH!!!
We appreciated the email contact before we arrived in Maui. The information we received in advance was very useful to help us plan our trip. In addition I had to phone the Maui Rental Group contact number to update our credit card number and expiry date and the phone conversation went very well and I accomplished my goal very easily. We were greeted the day after we arrived by Kelly and her walk thru of the condo was very useful and we learned several items that made our stay much better or easier. We really liked the Ho'oplei 39-3. It has a great location near Wailea Beach. It was a pleasant surprize to receive the four free coupons for Aqualani rentals. Nice touch! We appreciated that the baby items we rented Maui Baby Rentals from were in the unit when we arrived. Our family really appreciated all the beach equipment we found in the garage at this rental. This is very useful for families and we used the umbrellas, beach chairs, boogie board and sand toys every time we went to the beach. We recommend that you keep these items in good repair and replace them when needed. We also used the Ho'oplei swimming pool everyday to go swimming with our 4 year old grandson. This is a major feature of this rental and you should emphasize it when targeting family rentals. We certainly appreciated that the kitchen was well supplied with lots of small appliances, general kitchen utensils and appropriate dishes for our group of 6. We also appreciated the supply of items like paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent and dishwasher soap. It was nice to have a supply of tin foil and saran wrap but having wax paper would also have been useful. Although the spice collection was quite complete we were surprized there was no soya sauce. Items the unit could use: meat thermometer and a BBQ temperature device since the BBQ does not have a temperature indicator. It would have also been useful to have re-usable ice packs for the coolers that we found in the garage. Thanks so much for your help with this rental. We still have three nights to go but wanted to send this before we get in the rush of departing and getting home. Paul Cotton
This was a beautiful experience for all of us. It is something that my wife and I and my adult children and my beautiful grandson will never forget. We just want to thank you for allowing us to stay in this beautiful residence.
