Dan and Sue made me feel like family before I even showed up. Dan directed me to the local attractions Catarata waterfall is walking distance and playa hermona beach is a short ride. Dan also made a breakfast for me to take on the road, because I had to leave extremely early to make it to the airport.

El Paraiso is very well located in Uvita between the park Marino Bellena and the beautiful Playa Hermosa. There are good restaurants nearby (among them Mosaic) and a supermarket. The bungalows are very clean and confortable and a delicious breakfast was served every morning. Dan was incredibly helpful, he gave us many tips and advises, arranged excursions for us and made sure we were comfortably settled. Thank you so much for everything Dan!
Dan was an extraordinary host - he helped us along with our stay in Uvita at any times and was a pleasure to chat with. The place was neat and super clean, close to a spectacular waterfall, a cute bamboo forest and many good restaurants. I was surburnt when we arrived and Dan got me some Aloe to heal. We would come back anytime.

Dan! Dan is awesome and his recommendations for activities and restaurants were on point! We loved the ambiance, natural woodwork, and cleanliness. The remodeled cabins, and hot water and good pressure! Estrella is nice, attentive, and a great homemade breakfast chef! Dan was sure to check in before hand, had fresh water when we arrived, and the AC on in our room so it was fresh after long travel. Plus when we came with lunch leftovers, he reheated the food and plated it! They also checked if we had food allergies, which was very considerate! Would for sure stay again!
