I have been in the island tourist business for 30 years with over 10 years of rental service.
The Beach Cottage is adjacent to our personal home of over 40 years on Staniel Cay. Still a small 'out island', Staniel cay's village atmosphere of small shops, stores, church, dining spots, yacht club and docks, and some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet will make for a very special vacation experience. Fishing and diving can be world class. Including the numerous surrounding islands and cays, you can swim with pigs, snorkel in the famous James Bond 'Thunderball Cave', visit Iguanas on a deserted island, dine at a 5 star resort, take a boat ride to the 'Exuma Land and Sea park' where the beach combing and snorkeling is fantastic, or just relax on the many surrounding unspoiled beaches.
The Cottage is just a little over 7 years old and perfect for the couple wanting to get away for a while. Described as an open, airy, tropical setting with a fantastic location and outstanding views. It even shares use of a private dock directly in front of the Cottage. (obviously dock usage is at your own risk). The furnishings can include the bedroom with two twin beds together as a king, or two separate twins.
Contact Nikki Ferguson, the on island manager for all your needs (golf cart, bicycle, and boat rentals, fishing outings, etc.). She will see you are met upon arrival and transported to the Beach Cottage, as well as making sure you get back to the airport on departure day.

My husband and I are fortunate to travel frequently and rent homes at nearly all of our destinations. We visited this property for the second time in March 2018, the only home we have ever returned to (and we are planning visit #3 already). There are no words to articulate or photos to represent how incredible this home and island are. The view from the home/dock are second to none- reflecting the calm turquoise water in the bay. The area is quiet, serene, and spending time there is the most calming, peaceful thing I have ever done. With a short ride to the other side of the island, you can enjoy amazing people, fun, music, drinks- having the best of both worlds! We've explored the island on the bicycles provided, been picked us up right from the dock at the home by guides to fish/snorkel/etc, snorkeled the airplane wreck, reef, and kayaked up the river all within the bay. Please make sure to get up early to enjoy the most incredible sunrise when you are there. If you are even CONSIDERING this home, book it now. There’s a reason why when people visit in Staniel Cay, they keep returning (or never leave…) Gary is a wonderful host and resource and Monique (3N’s) helped make our stay everything we wanted. We also recommend Dreko or Sanchez for enjoyable water adventures- from fishing to swimming with turtles and sharks, and of course snorkeling. Thank you Gary, Monique, Dreko, Sanchez! See you soon, Beach Cottage and Staniel Cay!
Staniel Cay is simply amazing. There are no words to describe how gorgeous this island is. The Beach Cottage has a spectacular view on the southern bay. We had groceries provisioned to the island through 3N's and we were pleased with the service and the kindness of the staff! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We had total privacy if we wanted it and could go to town to hang out if we wanted. The views from anywhere on Staniel are amazing but the people make it the experience. Everyone we met on this island was so friendly and we were happy to make friends that will last a lifetime! I will be back soon!
Our vacation cottage was perfect. It had a porch area that overlooked the water. It was very nice and clean. Everything was well maintained. It was equipped with all the necessary kitchen items, also had a blender for making frozen drinks. It was a cozy place, and yet you had plenty of room. They had 2 bicycles which we used quite a bit, especially since we had not rented a golf cart. They had kayaks, which we used several times, and a float which was great for relaxing out in the cove. I loved being in the cove, the water was great, with not as much wave action as would be on a more open water beach. There was a wooden boardwalk with a covered area and ladder making it convenient for boat access. The owner's brother-in-law lives next door and was very gracious with all of the questions. He had a lot of history and info to share with us that was very interesting and helpful. The owner was there during the last part of our stay and was also very accommodating. We rented a boat for our stay and were able to tie it with lines provided by the owner. Just ask, they will fill you in on how its safely done. Having a boat was super. We used it every day to explore some of the many islands. We went to swim with the sharks, the pigs, went to snorkel in many places, one they call the aquarium, probably my favorite. We walked deserted beaches and swam in the various color blue waters. We caught quite a few fish and cooked everything while we were there. We ate at the Yacht Club for dinner one night and we also ate in their bar. The food was very good. Heads up, the sit down dinner requires reservations in advance. May be a day, be sure to check. There are several local grocery stores for items you may need. We did bring in some of our food items, glad we did. I am so glad I chose to stay at the cottage. We could not have asked for a better place. I would definitely go back there.
My wife and I stayed 5 nights at the Beach cottage . We got married 5 years earlier but couldnt afford a honeymoon at the time. Let me tell you, Staniel Cay was worth the wait !!! The location of the beach cottage was great. We are young and adventurous so we rode the bikes everywhere we went during our stay. Just seemed to really give it that small island feel. The beach cottage was very clean and well kept, not to mention one of the best views on the island. We would sit on the balcony every evening and enjoy a few Kalik's. The snorkeling near the house was great. We used the kayaks one day and found the small plane wreck near the airport. Go talk with Gary next door, he's a super nice guy and can help you with anything you may need. All in all , it was the best trip I've ever taken and hope to some day return to Staniel Cay and the beach cottage.
My husband and I stay in the Beach Cottage for 9 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The easiest way to book the cottage is to call Nikki at 3Ns Vacations and talk with her. We also were able to arrange a rental for a 17' Boston Whaler for our visit along with pre-stocking some groceries through 3Ns. We were able to use the dock for our boat. We used to the bikes to go to the Yacht Club or grocery store as needed. We also enjoyed the kayaks. The cottage was lovely and perfect for a couple. If you want to go around the island after dark, you will probably want to rent a golf cart because there are limited street lights. We would definitely stay there again.
