Five Palms Beach House is the culmination of years of renting mediocre vacation properties, dreaming of the perfect vacation destination/house and finally planning and building it. This is our families' vacation home and no detail has been overlooked. You will find luxuries and amenities that you will find at no other property. Because again, this is our families' vacation home that our family wants to share with you. And to anyone that has rented before, you know the difference. If you want to walk out the door and snorkel and/or fish, get the best lobster pizza EVER and walk down 3 miles of beach and not see another person day after day, this is the vacation home for you. This house is meant to be enjoyed with a relaxed, laid-back interior that is both comfortable and luxurious. Our home is kid friendly and adult happy!

Our family of 10 stayed at Five Palms over an April school vacation. What a wonderful house! Five Palms is perfect for families with children of all ages. The large room on the lower level, separated from the upper living room, screened porch, dining area, and kitchen was a great space for the teens and younger children. It was stocked with games, books, videos and almost anything one could ask for. The bedrooms off that space were perfect for the older ones. Susan and her family have thought of every kind of pool and beach toy including kayaks, sailboat, paddle boards, snorkeling gear, floats, etc. The lovely cheerful colors, spotlessly clean rooms, and comfortable furniture, including wonderfully comfortable beds in every bedroom helped us immediately relax when we arrived. Our delicious welcome dinner supplied by Beryl was the perfect beginning, and introduction to the island. Working with Susan to plan the trip was a pleasure. She sent us lots of information and answered all our questions promptly. We took advantage of having Beryl cook a number of meals. We so enjoyed her, and the meals she prepared. Our days were primarily spent between the beach and the pool with a break on a couple for the days for spearfishing, snorkeling lessons and a fishing trip. The house is stocked with wonderful towels, robes, dishes, and practically anything that one would need for the stay, including waffle makers, frozen drink makers, etc. We can't wait to return to Five Palms for another perfect family vacation.
We had a party of 11 staying at the 5 Palms Beach House in early March, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The property itself is amazing, and if you're looking for seclusion in a spectacular setting, this is the place to be. The snorkeling immediately off the beach is incredible, and the further you venture out the more amazing sea life you'll find. Over the course of a few days, I discovered octopus, rays, spiny lobster and tons of tropical fish. There are plenty of options for fishing, too, though chasing kids around consumed most of my anticipated fishing time. If you're seriously pursuing fish, and specifically bonefish, there are a number of recommended sites, but right off the docks in Tarpum Bay is a great place to start. The layout of the house is ideal for multiple families. We had three families and never felt like anyone was crowding anyone else. I'd highly recommend this as a destination and home for vacation. If you're looking for a bustling scene, this is not your spot, but if you want to have a beach and ocean to yourself in a spectacular setting, you can't beat it. My family is already planning our next stay at the 5 Palms Beach House!
This house is incredibly well suited to families. Right from the start Susan made sure we had all we needed for the various ages of children that we were bringing with us. From cribs to high chairs to stair gates for the small children and kayaks, snorkels and a volleyball net for the large children, everybody was taken care of. Having the beach and ocean at the front of the house and the pool at the back of the house was amazing! There were so many board games movies and activities to do so the 10 children we brought with us were always busy. Having the use of the 12 passenger van was fantastic as well. What we loved the most was how remote the property was. There were no neighbours close by and we didn’t feel like our group of 18 people was disturbing anybody when we had a family volleyball game on the beach. As well, this house is meticulously maintained. Everything was spotlessly clean and extra help came in to keep it that way. I would highly recommend this property.
I can't say enough about this home! Before arrival, the owner was accessible and accomodating. After arrival, the caretakers of the property were friendly, helpful and made us all feel at home and very pampered! We had several dinners at the house, which were delicious and affordable for a large group. The home is in an ideal setting. Great snorkeling, miles of beach to yourself, and every beach toy invented. There is really no need to ever leave the house! The interior of the house is clean and well maintained. The decor is beachy and beautiful. The kitchen has every item one would ever need. The beds were comfortable. It is apparent that a lot of thought and love went into the home. We have stayed in four homes on Eleuthera, and this one far exceeds all of the others in location, service and unexpected "extras" that helped us create wonderful family memories!
Wow. Our party spent a week at the property. We enjoyed every minute there. We had everything we could possibly want, and we did not want to leave. The property is very clean and well maintained. Beryl and Julian were present everyday to check on us, help with questions, and give recommendations. Beryl cooked multiple meals for us which were excellent. There was very good communication prior, during, and after the trip. It was a fantastic vacation.
