One of the unique features of this home is its location CLOSE TO THE BLUFF. The ebb and flow of the tides pass right in front of BAY DREAM giving the house its own natural rhythm, a rhythm that seems to REPLENISH THE SOUL AND SPIRIT of those within. Many guests have commented on this phenomenon over the years along with their remarks of 'We did not want to leave'. Stay a few days at Bay Dream and see for yourself! This open concept, MULTI-LEVEL home with its HUGE windows, decks and large HOT TUB provide endlessly-changing views of breaking waves, A BLOW-HOLE, fishing boats, kayaks, windsurfers, surfers, sunsets, and abundant wildlife! The incredible wildlife entertainment include whales, sea lions, osprey, pelicans, and gulls swimming and soaring up close and personal!
From the LARGE OPEN KITCHEN area you can VIEW the OCEAN with fishing boats, the BAY with kayaks and abalone-divers, and the BEACH with its surfers and paddle boarders; quite an entertaining panorama. There are BOOGIE BOARDS at the house or rent kayaks, surfboards, etc. at Caspar Beach. A wetsuit is recommended.
For more entertainment on the MAIN FLOOR you have a 60' 3D SMART HDTV with 3D DVD's, WHOLE HOME DVR , home theater sound bar, all Direct TV Premium Channels, Direct TV Cinema, XBOX ONE, a 3 CD Sony Stereo with MP3 capability, and of course, free wireless Internet.
The SUNROOM/GAMEROOM has a 32' HDTV+ DVD and Wii U Gaming System, along with FOOSBALL TABLE, poker chips, lots of board games and puzzles, a FULL DAYBED and a SOFABED- a fun place for kids.

We vacationed in Mendocino for several years before we came upon this incredibly rare oceanfront lot for sale. We imagined that building a vacation home in this spot would be a once in a lifetime opportunity. We designed the home to be a vacation rental with the dream to use it on occasion for our family and to share with special friends. Debby Merliss purchased this House in 1996
This was an amazing stay. Debby had everything for anything. There was something for everyone. The pictures don’t do it justice. We can’t wait to go again.
Can’t imagine better views. The home is terrific. Debby thought of everything. Pillow, sheets, utensils, appliances all higher end. Probably the best location I have ever been and I’ve been to many.

Stayed with my family, 12 people fit more than comfortably! Family dinners and game nights were made even better with an awesome kitchen and great game selection. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils and every gadget you might need. Already trying to figure out when we can make it back!
We had a great family reunion at this fabulous house! My east coast relatives were blown away by the accommodations and location--close to fun activities like hiking, horse back riding, dining, shopping, and wine tasting. The house was the perfect size and the amenities were first class. I'd definitely rent again for another reunion.
