We had 8 adults come to Lauderdale and we were very pleased with the villa condition, location and back patio seclusion. The owner was very responsive to our communications and questions. The pool was too cold to use and that was a big disappointment and we only found one wash cloth but everything else was great. Publix is 400 yards down the road as well as great dining and shops. We ran the intercostal in a friends boat and had a very balanced weekend of fun and relaxation. The beds were average and I may be more picky about bedding when I travel but it is important to a good rest. The street is very quiet and if peace and quiet is your focus then this is it and if fun is your focus then it is ideal also being so close to the beach, bars, food and shops. My family of 4, including 2 teen aged sons, vacationed for 5 days here at Villa Oceana during spring break 2016. The home is situated on a quiet road within reasonable walking distance to the beach and fishing pier. Publix and other shopping options are even closer. Our sons also walked nightly to a close-by city park to play outdoor basketball. This beach area has several good restaurants, ice cream shops, and souvenir stores. We had good meals at Aruba's and Mulligans, and good dessert at Sloan's Ice Cream Shop. The townhouse was spacious for the four of us. All appliances and equipment were operational, including the washer and dryer. The air conditioner worked flawlessly. Only thing lacking that we needed was a hairdryer, unless I just couldn't locate it. I picked one up at Walgreen's for $15.00. We grilled steaks one evening on the back patio and the grill worked great. The boys used the pool a couple of times, but the March water was a bit too cold for the adults. The townhouse is very clean and beautiful. Well lit with lots of windows.
It nicely fit what we're looking for: close to a nice beach - unexpected bonus of a volleyball net grill on a nice back patio pool was great during the day, heated would have been the cherry on top lots of comfortable beds grocery store between the house and beach which we visited 13 times a day - great for non-planners Great place to relax and no car is needed.
We where 2 Family's staying there for a week. Very nice house, great location, nothing to complain...!
My family of 8 were very pleased with the everything that this house had to offer. The location, back patio and pool were amazing. Ben was very responsive to questions. House is in walking distance of everything. The street is very quiet. Thanks again Ben! You will be hearing from us about next year!
