Welcome to The Gingerbread House on Captiva Island. This antique style cottage is set just 300 feet from the beautiful Captiva Island beaches. With 2 spacious bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and a den that closes off to be a third bedroom, there is plenty of space for a family of six. Stay for a week or longer and enjoy the full kitchen and washer/dryer to make your stay that much more accommodating. The Gingerbread House has an expansive screened lanai facing to the west to sit, relax and enjoy a cold beverage or even a meal. The master bedroom has a new king bed with en-suite bath while the guest bedroom has two comfortable twin beds. The den is set up as a family room with a TV and does close off for privacy with a comfortable queen sized sleeper sofa. High speed wireless internet is included as is beach equipment and beach towels. We look forward to welcoming you to our Captiva Island Cottage that we call The Gingerbread House. New flat panel TV's were recently added as well as new art work and kitchen appliances. Pets are considered. |

Well equipped home with lots of space for our family of five. Great beach and location was awesome. Walking distance to all the good restaurants and bars yet very quiet neighborhood. Ladies at remax were great to work with. Highly recommend.
Everything was in place extra's from kitchen bedding beach stuff and most important enough room for everyone to enjoy their stay privately.....Great comer lot with the vegetation and tress was a plus shaded everywhere on property.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time together at the Gingerbread House. The house was clean and the layout is open and very functional. The kitchen is basic, in good working condition. Bathrooms are well stocked with towels. The master bedroom has large closets and the bed is comfortable. Vaulted ceilings give the house a very roomy feel. Of course we come to Captiva for the beautiful beach! It is wonderful, and very private. Laurel , who was our rental agent , provided outstanding service, and was a delight to work with !
