The house was perfect for a quiet family getaway. We were looking for empty beaches for a trip with our infant and it did not disappoint. The house was well equipped with everything we needed, including a pack and play, beach chairs and umbrellas, cooler, etc. The beach was one of the best I have seen anywhere, and after visiting a few on the island (including Harbour Island), I'd argue it is the best on Eleuthera. The walk to one of the only beach bars on the island was perfect and Tippy's is definitely one of the best restaurants. I'd recommend the house to anyone.
We have travelled all over the world, and this was one of our absolute favorite vacations. The location could not be more perfect - the house itself is beautifully decorated, clean and has a layout that was perfect for the 4 of us but would easily digest double the number or more. The pool is the cherry on the top. We bounced between the beach (where at most you saw a couple of people a day) and then plunged into the pool and lay on the pool lounges and read our books, and then had sundowners on the roof deck. You are an easy drive into Governor's Harbor and we loved visiting the different grocery stores, liquor stores and bakery - and then the Island Farm was really wonderful. My husband fished off the beach but was also a short drive from the flats for some bone fishing. We have been to several places in the Caribbean and were yet to really be 'taken' by the place - probably because we had visited more of the resort based areas. Eleuthera and Waterford house changed it all! I now can't imagine going anywhere else! I just can't imagine it gets much better than this. Carol (the housekeeper) and Amanda (the owner) were also both wonderful!
Waterford is an amazing property! Extremely well stocked, great location, fantastic pool and beach. This home is extremely comfortable and private.we couldn't have asked for anything more! The owner, Amanda is such a delight. Kudos to Matt at Eleuthera Vacations for his extreme efficiency and helpfulness. The whole experience was great! I would very highly recommend Waterford for your vacation stay and Eleuthera Vacations for fantastic service!

This is a great house with many extras. The house is very clean. The beds are comfortable. The sheets and towels are plentiful and luxurious. The kitchen has every imaginable gadget you could need. Lots of spices available if you want to cook. The house is wonderful and the only thing that exceeds the house and pool is the location and the beach just a few steps from the back door. One of the best beaches on the island with some great snorkeling right there. The owner is accommodating and a wonderful host. We are so glad we got to meet her.
