As our Reviews indicate (We listen to and respond to our guest suggestions), a wonderful, newly installed Tiki Hut with overhead fan provides you and your guests with a great place to dine or enjoy a drink, or the solitude of the water while watching the sunset. 37.5' of deep water dockage (Equipped with dock whips to protect boat from dock damage) on a wide canal gives you plenty of room to bring the boat (up to 30' max.) with a short walk from the sliding door to your boat, or you can take a swim in the 65' Olympic size pool at the Cabana Club (private pool, beach, and restaurant club) membership included with the rental unit. The home also features a 43” Hi-Def.TV, high-speed WI-Fi internet, & cable in the living room, books and games, fully equipped kitchen (including toaster, blender, coffee maker), comfortable waterfront chaise lounges and chairs, rods & reels, ceiling fans throughout, and lush tropical landscaping!..
This spacious duplex is located in a tropical paradise. The property is on 9th Street, front facing east, on the island city of Key Colony Beach at MM 54.5 in the Middle Keys (within Marathon).
This is a canal-front unit with a 37.5’ dock (Equipped with docking whips to protect boat from dock damage) that will comfortably handle up to a 30 ft. boat, fish cleaning table, water and 20amp electric service at the dock and easy access to both the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. The home features a large, 8x10 Tiki Hut with new gas grill fronting the canal (great place to cook, dine & relax), two bedrooms, two baths, great room, and laundry room. There is sufficient parking on site for a boat trailer, RV and 3 vehicles. (City Regulations only allow one trailer per property.)
The master bedroom has a king and twin bed, and the guest bedroom has a queen and twin bed. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom. The unit has been completely remodeled with a new kitchen, new baths, comfortable furnishings/beds, individual A/C units (all 3 units new since June, 2014) in each bedroom and living room. New floor tile throughout the house. WI-Fi internet, cable and a 43” flat-screen, smart TV in the living room included. Washer and dryer as well as ironing board and iron are included with rental.
The two public beaches (Coco Plum & Sombrero beach) are a short 5-10 minute drive from the home. Bicycle & Kayak rentals available including helmets with free delivery & Pick-up..
Key Colony Beach is an island city that offers a quiet, safe environment--our own police department, tropical setting with excellent restaurants, boat rentals, charter boats, par three golf course (rental clubs available), tennis, basketball court, children's park, several dog parks and resort-type shopping all within walking distance. Marathon is known throughout the globe for its gulf and deep sea fishing, lobster, snorkeling and dive locations.
