About
Turtle Mountain Ranch is ideal for families or small groups wanting for a luxurious home away from home in the Big Bend. This large stone and glass house was custom built by a wealthy oil man as a private retreat and a place to host parties and entertain guests. It is now available as a vacation rental for visitors that are looking for someplace truly extraordinary.
Spacious living areas, extensive stone masonry, fifteen sliding glass doors, vaulted ceilings, large porches, and southwest furnishings combine to create an elegant home base for your Big Bend adventures. With 142.7 private acres, including a massive bluff and the western half of Turtle Mountain, you’ll have ample seclusion and plenty of land to explore and enjoy. If you have horses, there is even a barn, corral and a large fenced area just for them. Two guest homes on the property are scheduled for future renovation. For now, only the main house is available for rental
The main ranch house sleeps six comfortably, with one king and two queen beds. Larger groups may be accommodated by special arrangement. Every room in the house has one or more sliding glass doors opening on to a wood deck or stone patio with breathtaking views.
