Lawn games, kids games/books,yard games, and water toys. Central A/C throughout, washer/dryer, dishwasher and hair dryer. Located in a nice wide private cove, great for swimming. Lakeside large dock, deck, fireplace, stationary and floating dock with lights and electricity. Redwood Cove has many return visitors that consider it their home away from home.
Community is Child friendly, very safe for walking and jogging, has Nature trails and a private boat launch available for guests.

Bathroom upstairs is way to small, Could use some kind of small dresser in that room or the Loft area. Some kitchen utensils could be replaced/upgraded. Outside firepits....one in front of the house is unuseable. Chairs are in bad shape as need to be restained or painted and container for fires is rusted and broken in places. The one by the dock could use improvements to. Didn't use that one either. overall we had a wonderful time. The dock and boating area is great. The lake is just beautiful! A couple of the rafts too use would not hold air and need some kind of pump to inflate them. We will return to Smith Mountain Lake next fall hopefully, but will not rent this house again.
Overall, the house worked great for the 5 of us. The lot was much more wooded than expected. Although we still had a view of the late from the deck, a little tree work and ground clearing would make the view and experience much better.
Hello, I must say we were very impressed with Redwood Cove. The pictures that are posted don't do the place justice ,it's so much more than we expected. We really appreciated all the extras, the personal touches that make it more like a home than a rental. I being a cook , was surprised how equipped the kitchen was, even a coffee grinder... We have a busy schedule but will be recommending your place to friends as a place to stay.
