The space
This colourful home is surrounded by trees and bird song. The view makes you feel like you are living in the trees with a hint of ocean in between . The 2 minute walk to the ocean front with spectacular sunsets, clear swimming, snorkeling and campfire makes for a fun Nova Scotia adventure in your own back yard. You will walk through my family's flower gardens and share a private beach at the bottom of the hill. A Perfect vacation rental for families or group of friends.
When you walk down to the beach you might see our family pot belly pig. And you will definitely see Leafy the dog. She will bark at first and is very friendly. So just jump over the fence that is across the road so Pig Love doesn't dig up the lawn.
Only 7 minutes to Peggy's Cove, spectacular hikes and ocean-side fire pits (just ask). The nearest shopping mall and local organic market are only 20 minutes away. A variety of restaurants with reasonable prices are 3-5 minutes drive. Guests are grateful for the incredible peace found here nestled in the forest despite being so close to the main Peggy's Cove Rd. There are plenty of music makers, an awesome tree house, sand box and barbecue for indoor and outdoor fun.
Guest access
Consider the beach yours to share with my family and other guests. Use the chairs, watch the sunset and enjoy the swimming. Give Pig Love space as he is getting older and gets scared from fast and loud movements. If you want to use the fire pit on the beach there is wood around that you can collect or bring some down from the house. Please be mindful of windy days as it may not be safe for a fire.
