The home was located in a perfect place. Only steps to the beach and rite on the trolley path. We enjoyed our stay greatly and will be returning. The home was stocked with every item needed, beachchairs, beachtowels, floats, hairdryer, and the kitchen was fully stocked with any kitchen item you would need. Perfect for a couple to just pack a clothes bag and fly in.
The place was as clean as advertised, which is very important to my wife. The beach is only a few steps away across the road. It is easy to get to and really is a beautiful beach. We watched the sunset on Friday and it was a site to see. We did ride the entire island exploring and found plenty of nice casual restaurants. We are totally satisfied with out visit and hope to come back soon.
Very good time overall....all of our expectationsite were met or exceeded! We might return another year. It was close to the beach and excellent location to restaurants. We would give this 5 stars for sure!
My wife and I stayed for 3 nights andmy son joined us for 2 nights.It was perfect for our family. As clean as a luxury hotel. Just steps from the beach. Plenty of space for the family to relax, full kitchen to save money on meals, very comparable pricing for the area. I would recommend the place and Anna Maria Island for anyone looking for a peaceful beach escape!
We spent 5 nights in this apartment and were very happy with our choice. The location (although not right on the beach, but across the street) is very convenient. You are on the beach in less than 2 minutes. You can walk east (3 or 4 blocks) and see sunrise, and walk west (across the street) for sunset. You can also walk to Publix and Walgreens for supplies. We rarely moved our car. We walked to Publix, Walgreens, the beach, Bridge Street and took the free trolley to the far ends of the island. The location is excellent. It is half way between the two bridges to the island so you can choose which one to use based on traffic. The kitchen….wow! It has all the equipment one needs to prepare any meal. There is a full spice rack and a cabinet full of oils and vinegars, etc. There is a mini food processor and most kitchen tools one would need. We did discover that the broiler pan was missing. Mark had one there the next morning. The internet speed was excellent and worked throughout the unit. The bathroom was clean and had plenty roomy. The washer/dryer worked well. What a treat to be able to use it whenever I wanted to. The bedrooms. My husband thought the master bedroom mattress was too soft. It was OK for me, but softer than I am used to. However, the main advantage of this bedroom is its location. It is separated from the rest of the unit by a hall and the bathroom. Therefore sounds from the rest of the apartment (coffee perking, etc.) do not reach the bedroom. It is located facing another building (solid wall) so there is little outside noise. The guest bedroom has two twin beds….adequate, but short as twin beds are by design. We used it as a storage room. The living room is good. We spent hours there reading and surfing the internet. The photos show two small chairs. Those have been replaced by recliners. Each has a soft throw….wonderful for reading. There are books to borrow, etc. We did not use the beach chairs (we are beach walkers, not sitters). However there did appear to be plenty of necessary gear. There were plenty of towels and beach towels supplied. The listing advertised 3 patio/lanai areas. We did not use any. The covered one is next to an outdoor one. These are both next to the busy highway so they did not appeal to us. There is another unit in the building and this was rented to 3 couples. They were in the outdoor area every evening, so we would not have been able to use it had we wanted
