El Paraiso is just that - a little piece of paradise! Really well built and unique cabins. Only three to choose from so it is a quiet place to be. Delicious breakfast and a close walk to other restaurants. Dan & Sue are super attentive and ready if you have any questions or requests. We loved that we could walk to the waterfalls, the butterfly farm, the bamboo forest. We are grateful that this place .
Wow, wow, wow!! This was such a great stay. Loved and enjoyed it to the fullest. Location is perfect: within walking distance you reach the waterfall and several restaurants, cafés, supermarkets... It's also great located for doing tours, driving to the beach (less than 10 min). Regarding the owner this was just superb. Dan and his wife were so lovely, we became friends in an instant. They were giving many recommendations, were asking for feedback, if I needed anything else - just perfect. The bungalow itself was also great, nice AC, very clean, loved the hammock, they also have an outdoor shower which I used a few times. Breakfast was good. I felt very safe in the place. So it was just a brilliant stay! Thanks again for everything!
The owner, Dan, is super friendly and attentive and really bends over backwards to help his clients with anything they need
Obviously the bad reviews belong to the old owner. I came here with my parents and my friend and stayed for 3 nights. The little houses are located at the end of a road that leads into the jungle. It is quiet and you can walk into the city (5 min). The breakfast was good and always fresh prepared by the maid. You have to indicate the time one day before, but that’s nearly all over Costa Rica the case. It is clean and well maintained, the gardener was there while we were there. There were no mosquitos and the house has mosquito nets everywhere. The house has even a sound system. All in all, it couldn’t have been better!
We loved the owners! They took over the property in May and are the nicest couple you've ever met. The location is clean, quiet and central to town, hikes, and the beach. We will absolutely come again.
The best accommodation in 2 weeks in Costa Rica! We felt like a family and the new owner did the best to make our stay perfect. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the porch to chill out in the evening. It is located between the waterfalls and the Marino Ballena Park, Uvita is beautiful!
