Songo Pond Lakeside Property, is a lovely, peaceful and private, lakeside property is located in Albany/Bethel, Maine, about 4 miles from the town of Bethel. We are located on the back side of Songo Pond, house sits 10 feet from water and very little traffic on the back road. We are about 10 miles from Sunday River or Mt. Abram Ski Area. 4WD recommended in the winter time.
The water is very clear and absolutely NO MUCK. Sandy bottom of pond. In summer we provide 10 kayaks, 1 canoe and a paddle board, floating raft, pool table, ping pong table, fire pit, Wi Fi, large gas fire place, and large flat screen TV. We also have a generator that will run the whole house in case of a power outage. This is a wonderful place for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, hiking, jet skiing, hunting, 3 wheeling, and boating in your own boat. Or just relaxing. Great place for a family gathering or with friends. In the winter enjoy snowshoeing, skiing, ice fishing, ice hockey, skating, snowmobiling, or a stroll on the pond with your furry friends.

All guests from June 22nd to August 30th are allowed up to 10 adults max and 2 kids five or younger for total of up to 12 guests with no extra charge
All bookings with over 10 guests there is an extra $50.00 cleaning fee, except July, August.
Hundreds of hiking trails in and around Bethel and surrounding towns. ATV trails in the area.
SATURDAY - SATURDAY ONLY In JULY, AUGUST.
If you are using the Hot Tub I will be meeting you there to go over the Hot Tub with you as you are responsible for it during your stay.
If you don't want to use the hot tub during your stay you DO NOT have to maintain it while you are there. It will be locked up. You also will not be charged the hot tub fee.
Kitchen, has plenty of counter space, 2 sinks, dishwasher, toasters, coffee makers, lots of dishes and pans, lobster pot.
2 Full Bathrooms with shower/ tub combos and washer and dryer.
3 bedrooms, 2 on main floor and king bed in loft upstairs.
We provide all linens including pillows and blankets. 2 sets of linens provided for futons. Can sleep up to 16 guests.
There are many windows with amazing views of the pond.
There is also a screen door on both exterior doors.
There is quite a bit of fire wood for the fire pit.
Motor boats are allowed on this lake, very famous for water skiing. There is plenty of room to park a truck and trailer in driveway besides other vehicles.
You can launch your boat at the end of the pond, and tie it to our docks in front of the house. Motorboats are allowed on the pond. Pond is at least a mile long.
We take care of all garbage for you and this is now in a separate area from the recreational building.
The minimum age requirement to rent this property is 20. If you are under 20 and can give me 2 references from legit resources, or 2 reviews from other owners that are positive I will still book to you. I reserve the right to ask for proof of age when booking.

House is well equipped with everything and anything you would need to stay on a Lake. Homeowner is very nice and very accommodating. Great place to stay.
We had zero complaints about this cabin - Very clean, nice layout, and right on the water with a great view. The hot tub is well maintained, and the kitchen and living room area are large enough to relax comfortably indoors with a large group. Definitely planning to stay again!
When we arrived at the property, the owner's nephew did an amazing job showing us around and orienting us to all the amenities. The area is serene, quiet, and beautiful. We went around peak leaf season and the colors on the mountains were gorgeous. Altogether there were 4 of us, but the cabin definitely had room for more! The hot tub is an awesome gathering place. Listening to the rustling trees and stargazing from the steamy water was super soothing. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a refreshing, recharging, retreat embedded in nature!
