BEAR FOOT INN was recently purchased by us March 2014 and has been renovated. It is available for rental year-round with plenty of room for large families or small groups and all the amenities of home, and more... A four bedroom, two and one-half bath Chalet, it features a wood burning stone fireplace, full kitchen, Four (4) TVs (3 Flat Screen HD) and DVD Players, Free High Speed WiFi.. Regulation pool table, 1 king bed, two Queen beds, 2 twin beds and an outdoor 6 person Hot Tub with a view.
Enjoy the mountain views while relaxing in the six-person Hot Tub after a long day of hiking or shopping. There's even a washer and dryer for your convenience during longer stays. Ober Gatlinburg (the Ski-Lodge) is just 4 short blocks away. The entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is just five minutes away. Dollywood, shopping in Pigeon Forge, and the new Ripley's Aquarium in Gatlinburg are also just a short drive away.
Free use of the Owners Clubhouse is included in the rental from Memorial Day through Thanksgiving Day. Clubhouse has a swimming pool, tennis courts, playground, work out equipment, foosball, pool table, and ping pong.
There have been many Bear sightings here - hence the name. Please don't feed them, but let us know if you see any!

CHECK IN: 4:00 PM EST CHECK OUT: 10:00 AM EST PAYMENT - The reservation can be secured with $200 down and the balance would be due within 30 days of check in. The guest will process their own payments through Paypal invoicing once the invoice is sent by the owner or the owner may process the payments if the guest prefers. Payments through Paypal can be made from a debit/credit card, or your own Paypal account. We also accept personal checks made payable to either Michael or Venia Szuchon. We do not charge a damage deposit however, we do require that a credit/debit card be placed on file. Except for payment of the reservation, no other transactions will be processed on the credit/debit card except in the situations outlined in the "Damage Deposit" and "Cleaning Fee" sections of this contract. Once the reservation is paid in full and a credit card has been placed on file, the owner will provide to the guest all the information needed about the cabin and the area, to include the property address and the lock box codes. CANCELLATION POLICY IF RESERVED WITHIN TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL - The full amount is forfeited in the event of a cancellation.
CANCELLATION POLICY IF RESERVED GREATER THAN 31 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL: For a full refund less a $50 reservation fee, a 31 day cancellation notice is required. Cancellations between 30 days and two weeks before arrival will forfeit the advanced payment of $200. Cancellations that are made less than two weeks prior to arrival will forfeit the full amount. Early departures will not receive a refund of the days not used. MINIMUM AGE TO RENT: The minimum age to rent and accept the terms of this rental agreement is 25 years old. PETS - Pets are not permitted in the chalet under any circumstances. If it is confirmed that pets were in the chalet, guest will incur a minimum of $250 in additional fees but could be greater depending on the damage caused or the clean-up necessary. This is a NON SMOKING chalet.

Very nice cabin and the scenery was awesome (bear watching). 10 minute drive from Pigeon Forge and 2.5 miles to downtown Gatlinburg. Would consider renting again when planning another Gatlin burg trip.
Great cabin up on the mountain! We saw Bears most of the days we were there. Communication from owners was friendly and fast. My family definitely look forward to returning again!
This residence is a comfortable place to stay while in Gatlinburg. The owners are very helpful and nice people. The home is very nice, clean and fun. The neighbor lady is very helpful and friendly as well. She can help you find things to do and places to go, if you don't want to be in the main stream of things. I will rent this place again, if available.
The cabin is conveniently located a couple of minutes away from Ober Gatlinburg. Pretty and well maintained, it was a wonderful place to come back to after a long day of outing. We taught the little kids how to ski during the day and enjoyed the evening by shooting some pool and relax in the hot tub. Great accommodations!
Bear Foot Inn was very nice. All the household appliances were nice and updated. The owners made booking and reserving the place super easy. Would stay again if visiting Gatlinburg.
