The LaSota Cottage offers flexible accommodations for up to four people. Located at the end of a cove and surrounded by woods, the house offers a quiet location far from boat noise on the lake.
The water depth below the private dock is six feet and includes space to moor your boat. Bringing your boat into the dock requires some gentle maneuvering, but once you have pulled up, your boat is protected from the wakes of passing boats. On the other side of the dock is a, safe swimming area at end of the cove.
The primary living space on the main floor includes three bedrooms (queen, full and bunk beds) and a full bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen is open to the living room and dining area, and the large deck with views of the lake and forest. Cable TV service is available on all the televisions in the home, including the flat-screen TV in the living room, TVs in three of the bedrooms and the TV in the lower level family room.
The lower level is accessed via a separate exterior entrance and is a great place for kids to get away to play foosball and table hockey, or to relax in front of the television. The lower level has a galley kitchen, laundry facilities, a bathroom with a shower, and a bedroom with a queen bed.

Private and clean with beautiful views and great outdoor furniture. The kitchen was nicely equipped and the bathroom had a great shower. The lighting in the living room was inadequate. Needed to have a floor lamp or two behind the sofa instead of light being supplied by overhead ceiling fans. I stayed in the bunk bed room which needed a small table and a lamp. The front porch lamp was not working and neither were the back flood lights. Luckily we had brought flashlights to make it to the back entrance. Otherwise, it was so enjoyable and an amazing getaway!
My sister, my husband and I enjoyed a few relaxing days at the Huddleston property. The view of the water is wonderful. The weather was ideal. The cottage was very comfortable. Perfect, everything possibly needed in one home: view, deep bath tub , modern appliances throughout , grill, fire pit for smores, outside table and chairs on deck and on boat dock, which came in handy for boat we rented. Nice for a weekend get away and this year family vacation, enough room downstairs for more family members with their own bathroom and kitchenette. Also love that it is pet friendly.
