It is located in an elevator building sitting right on the shores of the beach, part of the beautiful Palmetto Dunes Plantation. Pristine sands, unspoiled marshland, wild palms -- all of these await you here, plus wildlife from pelicans to the occasional pod of dolphins!
The first place you'll fall in love with is the balcony. Covered, spacious, and boasting a world-class view, it is certain to become your go-to spot any time of day or night. With a table and chairs arranged for al fresco dining, journaling (your free WiFi works out here, too!), or game playing, it's irresistible! You can watch the kids race down the private boardwalk to the beach from this balcony, spot exotic birds roosting in the wild palm trees, and catch the sunrise over the sparkling waves. The en-suite bath features his-and-her vanities and a roomy walk-in shower. The second bedroom is ideal for a couple and a child, grandparents, or all the kids. It contains a queen-sized bed and a twin-sized daybed, a little TV, and easy access to the second bathroom, with its combination shower and tub. There's enough floor space here for the kids to leave out toys and projects, and the room can be darkened effectively for afternoon naps.
Captain's Walk 411 is part of a family-friendly resort featuring two outdoor swimming pools (a multi-use pool and a wading pool for the littlest travelers), a cabana, a covered picnic area, outdoor grills, an outdoor shower, and a gated private walkway to the beach. My two kids and I spent the week there. The place was very nice, beds comfortable. Easy access to beach and pool. Nice ocean view from balcony. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Excellent location and the landscaping around the area is simply stunning. We did not expect that but it really set the tone for the time we were there. The condo we stayed in really worked out for our party of six adults & teens especially with laundry machines and kitchenette being very accessible. The view from the balcony and access to the ocean was wonderful. Overall it was our favorite beach spot so far with it truly being more quiet and relaxed than other beach spots we've visited in the past. Can't wait to come back.
While we did enjoy our stay, thought the kitchen & appliances were showing age. Other than that, would definitely stay here again. We had a great vacation!!
