Description

Our 18th floor corner east tower apartment sits directly upon the beach in Luquillo. No roads to cross to obtain beach access, simply just walk down the steps directly upon our beach. To the left is La Pared one of the hottest surfing spots on the island, to the right is La Selva one of the longest undisturbed/undeveloped coastlines in all of Puerto Rico. This gated twin building complex sits high upon a granite rock towering over the beach whose waves create a wonderful sound as they dissipate upon the sand. On-site is a gym, pool, game room for the kids, gazebo and much more. The complex offers 24 hour security and garaged parking. The unit has been decorated using only the finest furnishings. Of the 3 bedrooms two have KING Beds and the 3rd has a TWIN OVER FULL BUNK bed with a trundle. The bedrooms accommodate 8 people. 6 adults and 2 children
 
There are two pools adult pool and kids pool under 10.  
There are AC's in each bedroom along with ceiling fans.

Why Mark Malchiodi chose La Pared
Direct Beach Front. The building sits on top of a large piece of granite jutting out into the ocean. The ground floor is 100 feet above sea level. There is always a breeze on the balcony where you can hear the waves crash hundreds of feet below. If you like to go for a walk you can walk for hours to the right of the property and see no one. It feels like you are shipwrecked on an island. Turn around and you can see waves for miles with a the rainforest as a back drop.
 
What makes this Condo unique
The rainforest is right behind the building. Drive for 15 minutes and you are already in it. I love the beach and watching the surfers.

I had a wonderful stay in apt 18A. The view was breathtaking and it was so relaxing to fall asleep to the sound of the waves at night. The apt was spacious and it felt like home, the beds were comfortable. I prefer a breeze to AC but the AC definitely came in handy for those who like it chilly. The washer machine, dryer and dishwasher came in handy for our party of 5 and I loved having my daily morning smoothies thanks to the blender. There were so many cooking utensils that came in handy and more than enough dishware, drinking glasses and silverware. The water pressure was just right in the shower. We really enjoyed our stay and my daughter started calling it our Puerto Rico house by the first day. Don't ve like me and wait to book at the last minute. Keep your phone charged because Mark sends his guests a VERY detailed attachment with everything you need to know. My phone was on 2% and I had poor service but he stayed on the phone with me until I was able to get into the unit. Thank you again for your patience, kindness and great service Mark. *Read the attachment folks, Mark saved me almost $300 on my rental because I got suckered into getting their insurance. **fyi cats are everywhere in the parking garage, something to keep in mind if you're deathly allergic or afraid of cats..

I give 5 stars to Mark. His apartment was very clean. He made the check in so smooth and easy. If you can follow writing directions, then you shouldn't have any problems checking in. The communication with Mark before and during our stay was super. I recommend this apartment and would definitely return if available.

Great place with great space. I stayed with 6 people and we were all really comfy. Everything worked as it should have. The parking is in a deep dsrk spot as a previous person stated in the comments but you can simply ask security if there is a closer spot. I did and they hooked me up with a spot by the enterance. Nice people there. The host was very clear and precise with his detail and instructions. Never had to call or message him about anything. The view is stunning as well, I had one day with a tropical storm over us and it still looked awesome! Also, since we had to stay in due to the storm, the host had a closet filled with table games, dominoes and card games which came in handy. I would definatley stay here again. Thanks Mark!

Mark’s place has a great view when you get up to the 18th floor, with that being said it is very cumbersome to get to the 18th floor. You have to park in a dark parking garage 3 levels down then go through gates and complicated buildings. I would describe the apartment as utilitarian. The furniture is worn and overall has a very casual vibe. There is obvious damage on the walls and everywhere but I think this may be part of the deal in loquillo. The pictures of the interior are not close up or clear and there is a reason for that.

Breathtaking ocean views

Very secure building with parking and breathtaking ocean views. The condo was clean and perfect for our large group of 7. We enjoyed being able to make our own breakfasts and snacks. The location was perfect for the adventuring we did to Fajardo, El Yunque, and San Juan. Mark is excellent with communication and everything was exactly as promised. Great value!

Mark's place was very roomy with plenty of space for our family! While we only stayed one night, it was perfect for our needs, and Mark was extremely responsive and helpful. The master bed was huge, the kitchen equipped, and the views were spectacular on both sides, both of the beach/water and of El Yunque. The internet and TV service were good, and the ocean breeze from the balcony was awesome. Thanks for a great, comfortable stay!
