This was our 7th year staying in Shirley's unit and next year will be our 8th. The unit is kept in great shape and the upgrades over the years have made our stays very enjoyable. The exterior of the property is well maintained and the recent exterior paint job has added to the curb appeal. This is our third stay here. Feels like going home. We love the peacefulness there. The sandy beach is wonderful and the water so crystal clear. The condo as always had everything you could want or need. I was amazed at the quality of the towels ...both beach towels and for bathing. Condo showed some wear and tear ...I think prior tenants must have been rough with their suitcases because the walls were pretty banged up but just like in any high priced hotel room. The pizza Italian restaurant and the ice cream shop ..both across the street ... are both outstanding. We hope to come back next summer again. Thanks Shirley for another great stay in your lively condo.

This is our second time staying at this property, and once again it did not disappoint! We love that we can come for a week and leave behind beach chairs, umbrella, or any typical kitchen gadgets we might need to cook ... this place has it all and in great condition! With covered parking too, which is rare. It seems like Bridge Street and this area of Brandenton Beach keeps adding more and better bars and restaurants, so we can walk everywhere from this location. Highly recommend the area, and especially this condo!

Our group consisted of 12 women ages 54 - 80 and we loved everything about our week, location ( we are all Moose members and unit is right next door to Moose Club on beach ) Shirley helped us find other condo owners in building to rent from and we had a total of 3 with 4 girls in each unit ??????????. The Condo was clean and well equipped with nice beach towels, soft sheets for sunburn skin, comfy beds , nice kitchen, BEAUTIFUL lanai porch with the most perfect view of the Gulf of Mexico and sunsets ! We planned our trip 1 1/2 years ago and Shirley was a joy to work with and extremely organized There is a noise ordinance on island so after 10:00 the place is as quiet as needed , the building is more soundproof than any place I have ever stayed and the music and people and Moose Club are FUN ! We all absolutely LOVED it there The Circle K is directly across street and you can get online and order groceries from Publix and super nice people deliver them right to the Condo! We had no vehicles so it was great We walked the Coquina Beach shaded path for exercise and shopping at the beach market on Wednesday’s and Sunday’s and caught the trolley north very near the Condo I hope we can return every year !!!

Highly recommended, great place to stay!!!!

The property was very clean and in good condition. The view was amazing. The problem is with the Moose Lodge next door. This unit is directly next to the lodge and they start cleaning/prepping early in the morning. There is a window in the second b/r facing their garbage can area/parking lot. Once the lodge opens, its non stop loud speaker calling out orders to be picked up. Some nights the crowds get very noisy.

My husband and I spent a week at Gulf View and enjoyed our stay immensely. Clean, well supplied condo and perfect ocean views. The pool was on the beach side and nice and warm. Floated every day and met many nice people. Only 10 units in the condo so never crowded. Would stay again. Owner was also very responsive to emails.

We were very happy with our two week stay at Unit 101 in Gulf View. In fact, out of the three units we have stayed in at this location, my wife liked this one the best. Both her and I felt it gave you a very homey atmosphere. We loved the African style decor and enjoyed having a nice sized kitchen with all the necessities included. The master bedroom, which was all we used, was very nice. It included a large and very comfortable King sized bed and beautiful view of the Gulf through sliding glass doors that led to the balcony. It was always a welcome retreat after spending the days in various adventures throughout the island or in the Bradenton and Sarasota area. The two slight things that were a bit puzzling were the the lack of a booklet with information about the condo, which left us with questions as what to do for checkout. Hopefully, we did the right things such as taking the sheets off the bed etc. and the TV setup which took me awhile to determine how it worked. However, after a day or two I became pretty proficient at doing that and it was no further a problem. The other thing I would like to mention, is just how helpful and kind the owner, Shirley, was during the whole process from the time we reserved the unit right on up to our arrival there. No one should have any qualms renting from this fine lady. In fact, we have already booked two weeks for next year in this wonderful unit.

We loved our 2+ week stay in Shirley’s condo. It was exactly as described, as well as clean and well-maintained. The condo, and I believe the entire building, is smoke-free. The building manager was onsite regularly, along with pool and garden service people. You will find everything you need there to enjoy the property both inside and out – more than enough bed and bath linens, beach towels/chairs/toys, a completely outfitted kitchen (we added some BBQ tongs to the collection) and a nice collection of books to read. The building is right on a beautiful white sand public beach, with a fenced in pool area to provide some privacy if you prefer. Most of our evenings were spent on the balcony, enjoying the crashing waves. We never even used the dining room table – all meals were on the balcony. Alas, we returned home and our lake is still frozen!! The condo is pet-friendly so our two dogs really enjoyed their time there too. Unfortunately, the public beach does not allow dogs, but we let them lounge around on the sand in the fenced in area. They are well-behaved and the neighbours didn’t seem to mind. If you do have a dog, there is a nice dog park in Holmes Beach, a few kilometers down the road. The condo is located right on the main road, in one of the busier areas of Anna Maria Island. On the plus side, you will be within walking distance of many restaurants and shops, which we took full advantage of. The ice cream shop across the street is almost too close – we spent way too much time over there. Their ice cream is very good! The area is quite nice, with many people out walking during the day and evening. Bicycles abound, as well as a free trolley which runs up and down the island. On the minus side, there is a fair bit of street noise. However, on the beach side of the building, the crashing waves block most of the street noise. Next door to the building, is a Moose Lodge which, being right on the beach too, is quite active particularly on weekends. Generally, they are good neighbours, no wild parties or anything. However, they use a PA system to announce when food orders are ready and calling raffle numbers. It is not too loud, but it was a bit annoying at times when trying to enjoy the balcony in the evening. Shirley was great to deal with – very responsive with emails and very accommodating when we decided to extend our stay a few days. All in all, we highly recommend staying in Shirley’s condo!

Had a blast staying here . We love the excitement of bridge street at night! Lots of great restaurants and shops right across the street. Will def be back!

On a positive note this property is in a great location on the beach. The pool area is good with lots of sun loungers and a BBQ. (Pool is not heated) It's in reasonable decor but could do with a little work in places. I was really disappointed with a few things, firstly - it really smells of cigarette smoke as non smokers we found it very off putting. The smell was even on the bedsheets and towels. I bought air freshener which helped a little. Secondly there's no deck chairs, parasols or any kind of beach equipment that we could use. Some of the other apartments in the block had these things included. I would return to this block but not this apartment.

While we are Sarasota Residents, we wanted a quick week away from the calendar, social events and life sort of speak. We felt as if we were in Provincetown, MA! First, Shirley's condo has all the necessities for a very comfortable stay, a view to die for, fully stocked kitchen, baths and a washer and dryer, most importantly a view to die for and right on the beach, sugary sand and if you don't want to sit on the beach, lounge by the pool. Walking distance to terrific restaurants and seaside shops. People are friendly and once you cross the bridge it's as if you are on island time. We travel often, are from Northern New England and now reside in Sarasota on a full time basis, who knew paradise was 14 miles from our driveway yet miles away! Shirley is an amazing host, although out of town, she makes it a point to check in and make sure all is in order upon arrival and is reachable should you need anything. We will be back sooner rather than later!

This condo has one of the best views. This was our third vacation in this building. We love everything. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, and 2 couches invite for relaxation. Perfect.

This condo was the most well stocked we've ever rented. There were plenty of plush towels, lots of pillows, etc. We've always had to bring our own dish and dishwasher detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. This unit supplied it all. The beach was a short walk and the ocean very calm and clear. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We've been staying at Gulf View Condos for about 12 years. We've stayed in this particular condo for the last 2 years consecutive. The owner is very nice and prompt with her responses. Always great communication back and forth. Overall the condo is clean and sits directly over the pool which is nice when you have kids. The beach is beautiful white sand and the waterline is real close. (Not a far walk to carry everything down). This year we seen some dolphins and manatees right off the beach. You can fish on a pier within sight of the condo also. Lots of shells and also found some sharks teeth. Places to eat within walking distance. There's a great ice cream shop across the street caddy corner to the condo. Christian owned and the ice cream is made by the Amish and is excellent. We also went parasailing right off of our beach. Went on a fishing charter with the kids and caught some flounder, trout, and mackerel. Like I said, there's lots to do and you won't get board. We definitely plan on doing it again next year in the same condo. Thank you Shirley for sharing your beautiful condo with my family making great wonderful memories. Can't wait until summer of 2018.

Had another amazing week at Gulf View Condos. Shirley was very helpful and extremely quick to respond to emails. The condo was clean, spacious, equipped with everything we needed for the week and the storage locker was filled with beach necessities. Can't beat the view from the deck where we saw beautiful sunsets. We even saw dolphins and a couple of manatees swim by! Looking forward to coming back next year!

This was the first time staying and this condo and we could not have asked for more! Everything you need is here. The views from the lanai are spectacular! The pool was great and lots to do close by without ever using your car! Did not use it, but he free island trolley stops just outside the complex. The only downside? Having to head back north tomorrow! Thank you for sharing your lovely condo with us! We are hoping to be able to come back in 2018!

This condo has an ideal location. It is right on the beach, and close to bridge street. Plenty to see and do. The condo has a wonderful view and has everything you need for a relaxing vacation.

We had a great time in this condo that was convenient to everything: trolley for the whole island, good restaurants, convnenient store, the Cortez bridge and more. We walked to most places and took the trolley to others. This is right on the beach with a lovely view from the balcony where we ate lunch and enjoyed the sunset. Be aware there is no elevator to this condo. A few things needed maintenance during our Stay and were handled quickly. Great visit.

This property is exactly as described. We have stayed in many VRBO properties, and this was the best by far! The owner was a pleasure to deal with. It was immaculately clean, and the kitchen was equipped far better than any we've experienced. The view past the pool to the Gulf beyond was such a delight! The pool was warm and well-maintained. Such a special location. We only hope it's available next time we visit AMI.

We have stayed in this particular condo three times now and plan to return again and again. The condo is clean with many updates and it is stocked with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The location is perfect for walking everywhere or catching the trolley - no need to get in your car the entire week! The screened in balcony and new tile floor is beautiful and you couldn't ask for a better view! No hassle with going somewhere to get the key was also a nice surprise this year - the only downside to this condo is that is isn't mine!!

Condo had strong smell of smoke on arrival but with air fresheners was much better. Furniture was comfy an lanai was wonderful every night! Had everything we needed for small meals in kitchen. The locker with added water toys was wonderful with all wee needed. We did add a few more sand toys to the collection. The live music on bridge street an the moose was wonderful when at the locations but that we could still hear it on lanai an one bedroom till at least 10 every night was not as wonderful! Beach is picture perfect! Like a postcard! We saw dolphins every day. An manatees all but one day right off The beach! We also saw stingrays an bunches of fish! It was a wonderful trip!

We have stayed at a number of Gulf Front places on AMI. We enjoyed our week in this updated, clean and tastefully decorated condo Everything was there, from the first day's coffee to dishwaser detergent. Beach supplies for all ages were also available. .The balcony looks down at the pool and an unobstructed view of the Island's beautiful sunsets. All updated appliances and keyless entry. (No risk of losing the keys). It is within a short walking distance of food and geat entertainment. However, if you spend more of your time on the beach you cannot hear anything but the waves. For pet owners there is a small beach access area where your animals can go for that quick walk right next door.

This was the second time staying here and again, it was perfect. We feel so at home there. It has everything you would ever need. The condo is beautiful, very clean and the beach there is fantastic. We hope to make it again next summer!!!!

This condo is located steps from the beach with a nice pool facing the gulf. View from balcony is awesome. Owner is very easy to contact if needed and responds back right away every time. My family and I have stayed at Gulf View for over 10 years and rented this unit the past 2 times. Already booked next year here also. Every year is filled with new ventures. This year there were plenty of dolphins everyday swimming along the beach. Also seen some manatees. My family and I used paddle boards and followed along with them. Kids had a blast. Very family friendly place. Very clean also. Plenty to do. All within walking distance. No need to drive anywhere if you don't want to. Beautiful condo with a spectacular view of the beach. Walking distance to some great restaurants and shopping. Beach was beautiful, unit was very clean and well maintained. Owner is great in responding.

I agree with the other great reviews. A great location, right on the beach, with a balcony overlooking the pool and beach. A convenience store is across the street, restaurants and great ice cream are within walking distance. There is covered parking for two cars, and the unit is only one flight up. The unit is immaculate, and very well equipped with high quality appliances. The owner is extremely responsive. We’ve never had a problem, but even minor questions and concerns are answered immediately. This is definitely a worry-free rental, and a great value.

We were searching for a fun place to getaway and chill and this vacation rental definitely filled the bill. We even brought our dog! The gulf front view is amazing; beach and gulf were excellent. The previous reviews are spot on, so read 'em! Close to restaurants and shops. We had a car (nice shaded/covered parking for two cars) so we walked to many spots and drove to others. The unit was very clean, well maintained and decorated nicely. Everything worked well, we had no issues, but had confidence the owner would have handled things promptly had we encountered any problems. She was easy to work with, friendly and very responsive. You can't go wrong with this vacation spot! Highly Recommended! Our favorite restaurant finds: Sage Biscuit (over the bridge, worth the drive, great breakfast place!) Slim's Place (Philly themed sports bar on the north end, has very good food) Wicked Cantina (tasty Mexican, can walk from the condo)

Stayed in unit 101. The ground floor is parking directly under the Building and this unit has room for two cars. So the unit is not at ground level its up one story (very nice) The unit has a beautiful full kitchen, two bedrooms and two full baths. The living room and master bedroom have glass doors onto the beautiful private balcony that over looks the pool and the gulf of Mexico. The balcony is a great place to watch the sunset and people watch. If you're lucky you will see dolphin. The unit is clean and well maintained. I have stayed many places on the island this is one of the nicest. It is steps from bridge street and near by restaurants, shops, and bars. Ye the building directly on the gulf is quiet and has a pool and sunning area and private gate to the beach (beautiful) Did I mention it also has a full size washer and dryer. A great place that I totally recommend.

Unit 101 is a beautiful ocean front, second floor condo with a stunning view of the ocean from the kitchen, dining area, living room and master bedroom through two large sliding glass doors. The unit was immaculate. The rooms are large. The two bedrooms are separated by the back to back bathrooms. Even though the dining area is next to the kitchen, we chose to eat most of our meals on the balcony that has two ceiling fans and two comfortable chairs that rock and swivel. There is also a table and four chairs on the balcony. The kitchen is well designed and fully equipped. The beds are very comfortable. The towels are large and plush. This ten unit condo is ideally located because it is within easy walking distance of several great restaurants (some with live music). Strolling through the neighborhood after dinner is delightful. Souvenir, clothing and ice cream shops are also close by. There is a convenience store across the street. A wide asphalt, pedestrian, shaded, walking/biking path is two blocks south of the condo. It parallels the ocean and is set in a park with large trees, picnic tables, bathrooms and extremely friendly squirrels. We looked forward to walking on this path every day. The condo building is well maintained, safe and convenient for unloading your car. Since parking is under the building, you can walk seamlessly from your car to the entrance door, rain or shine and stay dry. The two glass doors that lead from the parking area to the stairs are locked at all times. Push the correct numbers on the keypad to gain entrance to the condos. Another number sequence is needed to enter the unit. No keys necessary! We loved every minute of our stay. We knew by the end of the first day we wanted to rebook for next year.

What can I say? This is the 3rd year in a row that we have stayed in this beautiful condo on Anna Maria Island and it is definitely our home away from home. We have been coming down to Anna Maria Island for 9 years now and this is the place where we prefer to stay. We can't possibly think of anything that we would need for our vacation that this condo does not offer. The location is superb and such a beautiful view of the ocean and the sunset out the backdoor. Whether you want to dine in or go out there are so many places to dine at or grab a cocktail that are within walking distance. Located next door to one of the best restaurants on the island.... The Beach House......or across the street from the popular Bridge St. area you would not even need a car. Everything you will need is within walking distance. I highly recommend this vacation rental. I already have my reservation in for next year if that says anything. So enjoy and reserve now.... you won't be disappointed.

We spent the week of April 9th here this year. This is a beautifully decorated condo, plenty of closet space with a great supply of hangers (a pet peeve of mine when renting a place). Flat screen tv in living area & master suite. Kitchen is fully equipped if you desire to fix a meal. Stainless French door fridge, etc.. Location is great, few steps from the beach, restaurants nearby. One particular thing we really liked is parking for 2 cars is under the unit and the beach chairs, etc are stored there in a storage unit which is extremely convenient. Screened balcony with beautiful tiled floor & comfortable furniture over looking the heated pool. Great place to watch the sunset. We have booked again for next year & look forward to it. If you have a problem or question, the owner is quick to respond.

This homey, tasteful condo has EVERYTHING you need for a beach front, vacation stay. All you have to bring is a small suitcase of clothes. Warm water in pool, cool Gulf breezes, a beautiful sandy beach right out your door and inside anything you can think of including a full size washer and driver, every kind and size of pots, pans, serving dishes and tons of varied beverage glasses. Fluffy towels. Comfortable beds. WE love it. And a bonus is the area: a 7/11 store right across the road. Dozens of restaurants and shops with a two block radius, and the fabulous Bridge St pier. And, best of all is it more affordable than most places on Anna Maria.

Stayed one week February 27-March 5, 2016, two couples. This is the best condo we have rented anywhere in Florida. Loved the location right by Bridge Street shops and restaurants. High end appliances and furnishings. Screened in balcony allows you to keep the condo open and enjoy the ocean breezes-rarely needed air conditioning. Great heated pool and right on beach, could take chairs provided and sit on beach for nightly sunsets - paradise!! We had a car but mostly walked or used the trolley that stops right next to condo. Anna Maria Island is our favorite and Shirley's condo is the best. There are only 10 units and even though there was live music across the street, the property is very secure and quiet. Plan to return next year.

Had a great experience. The owner was very easy to work with and always answered promptly. The condo was well appointed and the screened lanai was awesome. Small grouping of condos so not a lot of coming and going around you. Beds were comfortable! Beach and pool steps away from the stairs. Great resturants just across the street (go to the upstairs one for less noise and beer). We would definitely go back!

Location location location; Perfect location; you wouldn't even need a car. My husband and I had the pleasure to stay in this condo for a 2 week vacation It was a beautiful & very clean place and well appointed with anything you need to cook. Including all towels and beach chairs. It was very tastefully decorated and everything appeared to be brand new and in perfect working order. The property is very conveniently located just to the right of Cortez Rd and easy walking distance to Bridge Street which is one of our favorite locations, if you're there have a drink or dinner at the Bridge Tender Inn. Everything about this condo is as pictured, absolutely no false advertising here !! The owner could not have been nicer. The price was also very good. I would highly recommend this property and plan to return.

My family and I stayed in this condo over the summer and it was wonderful. The photos listed on the site are as they appear in person. The condo is in a great location with restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The Circle K across the street is very convenient if you need something quickly. There is a Publix and Walgreen's just a few minutes down the road. This condo offers an amazing view as it sits Gulf front with breathtaking sunsets. The best part for me is I was able to bring my two dogs. The owner is very friendly and cares about her tenants experience. Thank you Shirley!

Perfect location for a stress free getaway. All dealings with owner were smooth and straight forward. Property is as advertised and after very careful consideration, we chose this spot and enjoyed every minute of it. Look forward to future visits. : )

This is our second time to stay in the same condo and we would do it all over again this week and next week and the week after that. The condo is clean, perfect location, comfortable, spacious and the owner is gracious and very helpful and always available. We can't wait to come back....my only complaint is that I can't live there year round!!

Our family of four plus 2 little dachshunds have stayed in this condo twice. The first visit was July 2014 and the other just recently in July 2015. Both vacations were truly wonderful! The condo was lovely, just as it appears in the pictures and the location was fabulous. We really enjoyed waking up to the beautiful full gulf front view as well as watching the amazing afternoon sunsets. The accommodations were very comfortable. We had all of the comforts of home. We cooked/grilled in most nights but went out to a few of our favorite places to eat, such as Blue Marlin,Island Creperie and Island Cream(both within walking distance). Walking across the street to Bridge Street was fun for shopping . There is a wonderful new pier there that is fun to fish or watch what people are catching. There is a Circle K right across the street just in case you need anything in a pinch. We really enjoyed sitting on the screen porch that overlooked the beautiful water! Definitely plan on returning, hope it was sooner than later. Thanks so much, Shirley:)

Our stay was fantastic! The location was exactly what we was looking for. Centrally located to restaurants, shops, THE BEACH. The condo was kept well and very clean. The condo had its own little storage bin which had pool noodles, chairs, beach umbrellas for your use. The staff was very helpful. We will return as often as possible.

We are a family consisting of Pop-Pop, Nanny, Mom and a little 4 year old princess. Pop-Pop has a hard time walking far and we wanted something on the beach, close to restaurants, quiet, and a nice beach suitable for a toddler. We found perfection. The condo was very homey ... did not feel like you were staying in a rental... felt like home. Everything worked well and we loved the whole atmosphere. We loved the fact that the Island goes to sleep at 10 PM and everything is quiet from 10 PM on. The beach was wonderful. The Beach House restaurant next door was so great we ate there 3 out of the 7 nights. Everyone loved the condo and we hope to stay there every summer!!!

We have stayed in Shirley's condo every summer for the past ten years on vacation. This condo has everything you need for a week at the beach! Just like home away from home. This unit has great access to the beach, the pool and local restaurants and shops. We always have a wonderful time and don't have to pick too much because the unit is well equipped! You can't miss with this rental!

This was not our first trip to Anna Maria, Island, but it was certainly one of the most memorable. A big part of that was due to this great vacation condo right on the beach. This was a last minute trip decision for us and any worries we might have had about last minute reservations washed away when we walked in the door. It's nice to know immediately when you arrive that you have found a home away from home. One where you are not concerned about tiny details and can instead focus on complete and utter relaxation. This is an owner who is concerned with nothing less than making sure your stay is the best it can be. If you are looking for a place that can easily accommodate a family of four or less, don't feel the need to look further. Without hesitation, I know we will definitely keep this marked as a favorite vacation possibility for years to come.

My sister and her family rented this condo in June, 2014 and she was quite happy with it so it was an easy decision for me when I decided to rent a beachfront condo for our vacation this year. The condo is very clean and cozy and was perfect for the four of us. Pluses included the washer and dryer, the Keurig in the kitchen, the screened in lanai, and many others too numerous to mention! The beach is only a few steps away, (sunsets were absolutely stunning!), and the pool is conveniently located right outside the condo and was never crowded since the building itself houses only 10 units. The condo is also within walking distance of many great restaurants and shops. There is a free trolley that passes in front of the condo and travels the entire island. But the best thing of all is the owner who was very nice and thoughtful of her guests. Whenever we spoke, she was very warm and genuinely concerned that everything would be perfect for us, which it was!! I definitely recommend this condo to all!!

My husband and I stayed a week here with our two small children (4 and 1) and we absolutely loved it. The owner was so nice to work with - she called before and after our trip to hear our feedback and to make sure all went well. The furnishings were clean, the view is amazing (pictures don't do it justice - you really are the closest you can get to the beach sand and ocean waves). We loved having the washer/dryer, dishwasher, gas grill on the pool deck, the aerobed and the extra chairs and toys in the storage shed downstairs. The condo complex was the perfect size and not busy at all. I was a little surprised when we arrived and had to unload that we didn't have an elevator, however the condo is the first one near the first flight of steps so it wasn't THAT bad hauling everything up (even with two kids). Not being too sure of the area the security door on the stairwell as well as the extra deadbolt in the condo made me feel extra secure but of course we didn't see any craziness while we were there or in the area. We saw dolphins and even a manatee right out front of the condo. The location is great - restaurants, live music, shops and the pier all right across the street or a couple of blocks away. The Circle K directly across the street came in handy when we needed ice or milk. The moose lodge next door plays music and seems to have a good time but you can't hear it from the master bedroom and the noise ordinance helps so it doesn't go on late at night. We fished Longboat Pass and one of the small keys near Coquina Beach, built sandcastles, swam in the pool, ate breakfast at the Sign of the Mermaid, created our own donuts at the Donut Experiment, ate dinner in Cortez at a great seafood restaurant right on the water and we even took a drive sight seeing to St. Armands circle - we definitely prefer the laid back style of Anna Maria a little better. Anna Maria/Bradenton Beach is one of our family's favorite vacation spots and we will definitely rent from Shirley again. Thank you!

This was our first time on the island even though we live just two hours away. It was exactly what we were looking for with the beach right in front of us and just steps to jump in. The condo was clean and nicely decorated with a kitchen that had everything you would need if you want to cook. There are plenty of good restaurants,though if you don't. Even though it was just the two of us the extra bathroom was a bonus, as was the washer and dryer.The biggest positive is that we dealt with the owner herself and that she cared about her place and that we were happy with everything. Even though we may want to try the northern part of the island at some point we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in this unit in early May. We have stayed in rental units in Bradenton Beach many times, and this was our favorite place. The location is perfect for us: not too busy, near the Cortez bridge for easy access to the mainland, on the free trolley route, and most importantly, right on the beach. A great seafood café and store is right across the bridge in Cortez, there is a convenience store right across the street, and the shops on Bridge Street are an easy walk. We have stayed in other units in this building as well, and find that it suits us very well. It is well-maintained, with covered parking and a nice pool right on the beach. It seems to attract friendly renters, and it's a great place for small kids. The unit itself is one of the most thoughtfully equipped units we've rented. The kitchen is particularly well equipped, which is important for us because we like to cook. The rooms are all nicely furnished, very clean, and well set up for storage. The screened deck is where you will spend all your time. We come to Florida so we can look out at the beach and Gulf, and the view from this unit is perfect. We would highly recommend this unit, and plan to return.

We love Bradenton Beach and have stayed at this unit twice now. This condo offers everything you want and more. The unit is clean and nicely decorated and fully equipped so that you need nothing. There was even a Keurig this year which was a nice surprise. The screened in lanai was a wonderful way to spend our evenings looking out at the ocean and relaxing. Perfect for when we have had enough sun but still want to experience the beach. It is perfect to walk out this condo and be steps from the beach and having a pool as well is extremely nice. It is in a great location with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We absolutely love this place and plan on coming back year after year. I would highly recommend.

We booked this unit for our family Spring Break trip. The unit was well stocked and very well maintained. The convenience of walking out of the unit to the pool and beach within steps and without crossing any roads was excellent for the kids to be able to come and go from the beach to the unit and back when necessary. The pool was very clean and warm. The storage shed was adequately stocked with some beach chairs and umbrella and other sand tools. The location was very convenient to Bridge Street which had great restaurants as well as an ice cream shop that became a routine for the family every night. We enjoyed this quiet part of the island but could catch the free bus ride (stop very close to the unit) up to the North side of the island. We enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, took a Segway Tour in Sarasota, and went to Robinson Nature Reserves. We even did some geocaching on our visit. What a great vacation filled with lots of memories. We'd definitely recommend the unit!!! The owner was super friendly and responsive as well.

My husband and I stayed here and while the weather was on the cool side, we had a great time. We could watch the sunsets right from the comfort of the living room even when it was too cold to stand on the beach. The pool was heated nicely and we did enjoy sitting in the sun there. The apartment itself was furnished with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Great artwork, lots of books, comfortable furnishings. Parking under the building works well and it's a short walk to the Coquina Beach Park area. Bridge Street restaurants and shops were a very short walk across the street but the building is well insulated from the busy-ness. All in all, a great vacation!

this condo is completely comfortable, kitchen has everything you would ever need. balcony wonderful, right on gulf and over pool. pool is heated, great beach walking. atleast 5 restaurants within walking distance and free trolley up and down the island. the island is fun, not too crowded and funky. old cortez nearby , with more restaurants and can't say enough about the condo and area!

Imagine the delight I had with my first-time visit to Anna Maria Island! Not only were there blue skies and gentle breezes(a decided change from gray, cold, cloudy Chicago), but the Gulf View condo was exactly as the name implies and even more - yes you have a view of the Gulf, but more importantly, you are just steps to the heated pool and the beach. The condo is “a home away from home” - all the amenities and none of the hassle of bringing it with you: comfortable with a well-appointed decor with soothing colors(freshly painted), a fully stocked kitchen, and even the addition of Netflix! The location of the condo is ideal in that you are halfway from the northernmost point of the island and the southern tip of St. Armand’s Key. Even without a car, everything is accessible with the use of the free trollies. Great restaurants are within walking distance, and Publix, the local supermarket is one of the trolley stops.

This condo is a treasure! Fresh, clean, newly renovated. So comfortable and easy. Bright with spectacular views of the Gulf. Over sized screened-in balcony with comfy seating and dining table has sliding doors to living room and master bedroom. Fully equipped, spotless kitchen. Literally steps away from bars with live music, restaurants, and a convenience store. Lovely 3 mile walking/running path along the gulf begins less than a block away. Heated pool on the gulf is right outside and since the building only has about 10 units, it's never crowded. Sunset views are spectacular. Both bathrooms are spacious. Laundry in the unit. Favorite things about this unit: 1) beachfront property. Need I say more? 3) CLEAN and fresh; 3) walkability - you do not need to get in the car! 4) covered, easy, reserved parking in small (non high rise!) building provides easy access; and 5) location is perfect for the days when you do want to take a ride around Anna Marie Island or down to close-by Sarasota. We can't wait to return and will try to stay longer next time.

First time on AMI. This is excellent locatation. Walking distance from shops and restaurants. There are nice open-air bars also with live music and good eats, we were there at Christmas and had an excellent meal at the Bistro across the street, then went downstairs for live music and drinks. A night to remember!! The view and beach is great and not crowded. A nice park is also within walking distance if you have pets (no pets on the beach). Condo was everything I expected with no disappointments. Condo owner contacted me before, during, and after to make sure all was well, she is very nice!!

Small condo complex on beach, nice pool and close to restaurants for evening sunset dinners. On site parking is a plus. Great beach area. Nice condo unit, 2 full baths and nice patio deck overlooking pool and beach!

Excellent location on the beach. Great weather and very nice condo. Close to everything. Step out the front door and trolley stop right there. Condo was large and the beds were very comfortable. Lost of closet space. We enjoyed the ocean views and the nightly sunsets. Would stay here again.

The location was accurate but the photos did not reflect the rental's appearance. The cushions on sofa were soiled and I had to wash them before we could sit in them. The pool area was old and cement blocks were a hazard as you walked through to beach. We could not talk to owner about these problems as it was managed by others. I would never recommend this property even though the beach and location was good.

My wife and I had a great holiday while staying in this beautiful beach front condo. Every evening we enjoyed the beautiful sun from our deck as it set over the Gulf. In the morning we made use of the heated pool before going for a walk on the beaches of AMI. We have been travelling for our vacation at AMI for each of the last ten years staying in various condos. We truly appreciated the quality of this accommodation which made our stay a pleasure.

My wife said we would never find the "Perfect Condo" on the beach. Fortunately for us, I found it! Right here at Miss Shirley's wonderful beachfront condo on beautiful, clean, unspoiled Anna Maria Island! This Christmas was our first stay here on AMI and we have decided to make this place our new beach destination! The home is lovely and spacious and the ocean view is unbeatable .. but I'll let you read all about that stuff in the other glowing reviews. Let me tell you a story which will convince you to book this "5-star" condo! Over the last 30 years we've stayed at some pretty nice beach homes. A sincere owner and a customer service-minded property manager can make a vacation stay memorable. We arrived to find the dishwasher had a small leak. We contacted the management company and they immediately took ownership of the problem. These things are bound to happen to any home and they had a couple of repairmen out there the next day. When management contacted Miss Shirley, the owner, she called us and told us she was having a new dishwasher installed as soon as possible..and she did! Miss Shirley then called us back to make sure we were happy with the new appliance and told us to be sure and call her directly if we had any more problems. The ladies at the management company also touched base with us to be sure everything worked out okay. We didn't, however, call Miss Shirley or the managers back because the remainder of our stay was perfectly heavenly. On the morning of our departure, a very nice gentleman (who worked for the management company) noticed us carrying our luggage to our car. With a smile, he stopped what he was doing and helped us carry our bags down the stairs and then, politely but firmly, refused our tip for his good deed. One can find a pretty place on the beach..just about anywhere. To find an outstanding, "Old Florida" beachfront environment..one needs to go to Anna Maria Island. To secure the old-fashioned type of customer service and genuine care that is so hard to find today..one needs to rent Miss Shirley's beautiful, comfortable, oceanfront home and enjoy the services of her fine management company. We can't wait to go back and pick up where we left off!!!

Such a nice property! Many restaurants with all cuisines and prices within walking distance. Live music right across the street, but quiet beachside views and walks made for a perfect combination. Clean, comfortable, well maintained and nicely decorated with a well equiped kitchen. The pool was clean and the temp perfect. The market on Bridge Street on Sundays was fun. I've been to several beach locations in FL. This is my new favorite. The owner, Shirley, is very nice and helpful. Love, love, loved it!! Can't wait to come back!

We spent a week in this unit during the later part of the holidays and it was wonderful ! Being right on the beach with outstanding views from any part of the condo makes this location ideal ! The unit is well furnished and very well kept with everything you need for a relaxing time in paradise ! The Bridge Street activity was fun and you only hear it if you want to. The pool is nice and warm and relaxing if you don't feel like ocean swimming. Lots to do in this area and we could easily stay a month and never get bored ! Shirley, the owner, was so nice and helpful and cares a lot about your experience and even called us after our stay to be sure everything was OK. That's the difference in using VRBO ! You really feel connected to the owner and can ask anything about the area/unit to get the real scoop !

This was a fantastic property. It was well maintained, except the washer and dryer did not work. The maintenance worker was very nice and informative. The views of the gulf were breathtaking with wonderful sunsets. Hearing the waves crash on the shore was very relaxing and calming. It was very close to many activities, but we had a car which allowed us to be more flexible. We did not use the trolley although I saw it frequently during the day. the food on the island was fabulous and there was a very good selection of cuisines that would fit most appetites. I would definitely recommend this property to others.

Warm, welcoming condo that's part of a lovely, clean, secure complex with heated pool and BBQ directly on the beach. Wonderful balcony with spectacular beach views. Master bedroom sliders to screened balcony enables sleeping to the sound of the waves. Incredible. The well stocked kitchen has what you need to enjoy meals and happy hour on your balcony. Easy walk to Bridge street for evening music and the fun Sunday market. Be sure to order something from Oma's to enjoy at home. Their pizza is nice way to ease into your vacation. This was our third stay at this complex but our first time with Shirley. We'll always check with her first when planning our next trip. We felt so welcome in her beach home. Thanks, Shirley!

Beautiful views - excellent accommodations, perfect location. We stayed for 2 weeks and were able to watch the dolphins every morning and evening. The pool was cleaned twice per week and the beach was "dragged" at least once per week. Everything was super clean and tidy. We had an issue with the wi-fi but it was a fiber-optic issue with the ISP and was handled timely and efficiently by everyone involved - they kept us informed and the service was back up within a few short hours. The owner, Shirley, cares and takes good care of her condo and her visitors!

We had such a great time and would love to come back. Everything was extremely clean, furnished to a high standard with cute personal touches, all the necessities, assigned covered parking, 2 bedroom/2 bath, comfortable beds, etc. The view was amazing on the screened patio overlooking the pool and beach on the Gulf of Mexico. The large screened patio was accessible from the Living Room and the Master Bedroom. The location was fantastic with many stores, shops and restaurants within walking distance. We never moved the car from its parking space! The owner was very prompt and friendly in responding to our questions prior to our stay.This place has everything you could dream of and more. Beautiful condo, very clean and well kept. My husband and I truly enjoyed staying in this condo and hope to do so again next year. The location is wonderful, close to everything you could want to enjoy a relaxing week on this terrific island.

The condo is wonderful - great views, lovely sliding doors on both living area and bedroom, huge closet in master so that you can put everything away and not be tripping over everything. The location in the city is awesome - you couldn't ask for anything more. You can walk to all the quaint and fun restaurants and shops and pier. It is one of my favorite places to go and I can't get back soon enough. The unit is lovely and well equipped - great time!

Nice condo, well equipt but a bit torn. We liked the planning of the condo with the bedrooms in a separate corridor. We also liked that the pool was in front of the building and the beach which made it easy with our kids. Although the placement of the condo in the building is probably the worst one. Masterbedroom is placed just beside the Moose beach club which is very noisy and the pool which does not have any restrictions when to take a swim resulting in loud nighty visits. Second bedroom is placed nearby the road which is very noisy both from cars and motorcycles but also from the nearby pub playing live music almost every night. The disrespect from all the neighbours regarding smoking was also a disappointment. People smoked everywhere especially by the pool which had a big sign saying non smoking area.
