The whole apartment is solely for holiday guests. We ourselves do not live in the house. The caretaker Toni will welcome you personally in our name and show you everything. He's your host and local contact for all your questions and wishes during your stay.

Public transport just around the corner with good connections to the city center by tram (line 6) or bus (line 17) - travel time 10 minutes.

This also includes the Bern Ticket which allows you free to use all the public transport during your entire stay, incl. The famous Gurtenbahn on the lookout mountain of Berne, the Marzilibahn of the Aare to the Federal Terrace, the mat lift to Münsterplattform, and round-trip for Belpmoos airport. On an arrival, the reservation confirmation of the rent is a valid ticket for the journey from the airport or train station to the apartment. The mandatory tax of CHF 5. 30 per person / day is included in the rent and is paid by us as a landlord.

Visit the main attractions of Bern: the old town with its arcades, the Bear Pit, the rose garden (views of the city), the Münster (cathedral) and the Münster terrace, the famous Zytgloggenturm, the Houses of Parliament (Parliament) and the Bunde house terrace overlooking the Alps, Kirchenfeldbrücke (the architect of Eifellturms), the historical museum, the Marzilibad and the Aare, the storehouse, the Municipal Theatre and the Kursaal. The cultural offer includes many famous museums (Kunstmuseum Bern, Kunsthalle Bern, Historical. And Natural History Museum, Paul Klee Centre, Einstein House), concerts and theater. A trip to the local mountain of Bern with the Gurtenbahn should not be missed. Or you can stroll easily through the arcades (arcade) of Bern for shopping or for visiting a restaurant. I really enjoyed my stay in this lovely, very modern apartment in Bern. The local host, Tony, was so helpful and welcoming. He could not have done a better job of making me comfortable and welcome. And I very much enjoyed the Bern card that came with my stay there. I was able to hop on and off of trams and buses all over town, without the concern of buying tickets. The apartment had everything that I needed, and the grocery store nearby was excellent. It was easy to travel into the downtown area or the train station. Since I come to Bern every year or two, I will be planning my trip to include a stay at this lovely apartment whenever possible.

My partner and myself stayed in this fantastic apartment for one week. I can honestly say it is the most beautiful and well equipped apartment I ever stayed in. There was absolutely nothing missing. The owners have thought of everything. The apartment is modern, spacious, stylish and just a fantastic place to stay. Not to forget very clean and in a brilliant location near the town centre. The owners were very very helpful and the contact before the stay was friendly and with any question there was a quick response. The local host was very friendly and welcoming. All in all, I would just love to stay again as soon as possible. So many thanks.
The apartment is classy and modern and had absolutely everything we needed. The bed was especially comfortable and allowed for a good night's sleep. And the room darkening blinds kept the apartment dark in the morning, even in late June when there is a lot of daylight in Switzerland. Every night we ate on the deck overlooking the rooftops of the neighborhood. A nearby Coop grocery store was convenient. All the kitchen equipment was top quality (although as non-German speaking visitors we were a bit challenged on figuring out how to use them!) It is an easy 10 minute tram ride to the main train station in Bern. We enjoyed being in a neighborhood outside of the urban hustle and appreciated peaceful evenings. Tony, the local contact, lives in the building and was available if we needed assistance. The gracious owner checked in with us to make sure all was well. I highly recommend this apartment and will definitely stay here again when in Bern.
