Bordered by the Manzanares River and the Toledo road, the city suddenly opens out at Embajadores. You’ll find modern apartment blocks, parks and noticeably more space. There aren’t many city sights around here but – being a popular residential area with good space and proximity to the centre – it does have a lot going for it. The fascinating Rastro market is a must-visit on Sundays. You can also join the long-suffering fans of Atletico at the nearby Calderón Stadium. Vamos rojiblancos!

Excellent, clean and comfortable apartment for 4 friends on a weekend trip to Madrid from London. We loved it. Double bed, 2 singles and a sofa bed. Great location - you can walk to La Latino in about 11 minutes, and a further 10 mins you’re in the centre (Gran Via). The metro (Acacius) is also on the corner of the street so can easily hop on that too. The swimming pool was a real bonus after days of sightseeing in the summer sun. The owners have an office in the apartment block which was really convenient. You pay a 200 Euro deposit on arrival (can do this on credit card so don’t need cash) which was refunded promptly on departure. Both check in and check out were very smooth and the lady on check in was really friendly & informative, explaining how we could get to town etc. There is a supermarket over the road as well as local coffee shops and restaurants. Way to Stay were also really impressive in their communications and updates to us from booking and throughout. I highly recommend this apartment as a base for a trip to Madrid.

Close to the Metro
The location was excellent for our situation. The apartment owner was very accommodating and made the experience easy. The apartment is very nicely outfitted and comfortable. I would recommend it to friends or other travelers.
Very good location, walking distance to center of old town and supermarkets and nice restaurants close by. Clean and comfortable apartment. The traffic noise might disturb if you are used to quiet surroundings
