Purunchi is good for couples & families. Within 5min walking distance there a mini market. Restaurants at the beach open in the weekends. The airport a 25min drive away. Electra &water incl. in price. Its recommended to rent a car

I explored the island extensively from Sint Michiel for two weeks. I can only agree with the previous positive reviews and do not need to repeat everything. For me, it was especially positive and important: - The perfect communication with Ivy (as if she's already waiting for it :-)) - cleanliness - good mattresses, easy air conditioning - water heater - 220 volts, so no adapter necessary With pleasure again!
You got everything you need for a lond stay. You can sleep 6 persons. If you have a car that the place to stay. Not a 5 star but a that price you could get better. Alex will help you if you need to. I recommanded to every person except the very fancy one
Just as I expected: a quiet, lovely neighborhood away from the busy tourist areas (approx. 20 minute drive to the floating bridge area). Exactly what I was looking for! A nice place with 2 spacious bedrooms with excellent working air conditioning, a nice garden and small kitchen to fix breakfast or a quick dinner, a nice small beach (Snake Bay) in walking distance to enjoy a beautiful sunset and a 5 minute drive to Centrum supermarket where you can find just about anything. The internet was down when we arrived, but Ivy made sure it was taken care of. Also, Alex is very helpful and catered to all our extra requests such as extra blankets, towels and kitchen tools. Ivy is very attentive and responds very quickly. Great value for your money. I would highly recommend and hope to visit again soon.
Definitely LOVED this place. -perfect location (10 min to Willemstad, close to the beautiful beaches Southwest the island with Westpoint end East only 30min drive cos it's located in the middle of the island) -clean rooms, basic equipments, all you need is there. Including a welcoming book with tips where to go and eat. -lovely quiet neighborhood and big beautiful garden to chill (with playground for kids) and enjoy all the singing birds -Ivy does not live on the property, but Alex is. Ivy is responding very fast and always willing to help! -So is Alex. He won't bother you but will be there when you need him and is looking after everything on the premise. -beaches on walking distance -supermarkets close by. Esperamos is our favorite; it's big, they have everything and they are the cheapest and they have delicious speltbread for those who wanna know;) That's all I can come up with for now. We stayed for a whole month and Ivy's place made us really feel home! We definitely recommend this place:)
