The apartment is located in Piazza del Carmine in the heart of San Frediano, recently awarded by lonely planet as the coolest neiborhood in the world (!).
It is located on the first floor of an historical building of the XV century. It overlooks Carmine's square and Carmine's Church with the Chapel Brancacci painted by Masaccio. Recently It has been completely renovated and it is equipped with air conditioning, new windows, internet wifi, washing machines, tv.
The apartment is divided in two parts: the ''Square View' is composed by a kitchen, a bathroom with shower and washing machine, a big bedroom and a big living room with a double sofa bed.
The second part, 'Garden View', is composed by a kitchen with a couch, a large bathroom with shower an washing machine, a big bedroom and a second bedroom.
Beds are brand new.
The entire apartment can accommodate up to ten people.
Situated into the Historic Center and in an excellent position, in just a few minutes on foot you can reach Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi, Piazza Pitti, Santo Spirito, the ‘Duomo’ (cathedral), Piazza della Signoria and the Central Station ‘Santa Maria Novella’.

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay in Federico’s amazing apartment. The location of the place is spot on. Just over the river from the busy city, on a nice open square, a quick walk from the train station! We especially liked the openness of the apartment being on piazza del carmine. Many of the streets are darker and narrow, but this one felt airy and bright with natural light shining in. We were on our way from Milan to Rome, where hotels with our children feel cramped, this apartment offered space for us to be together and apart and all get some much needed rest! We took a train to Pisa for a day trip (only one hour ride). And spent the next day admiring the duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, and piazza del repubblica for the children (there is a carousel and space to move about) we found everything we needed in the apartment! We did blow a fuse the first day in and Federico was so responsive coming to help in no time. We couldn’t say better things! Hope to stay here again on a return visit!
The owner, Federico is amazing! Apartment was immaculate and was very roomy for our family of 5! The location was perfect, and Frederico gave us fabulous recommendations of places to eat and visit! Highly recommend staying here!
Fabulous apartment! Spacious, comfortable, quiet. Great neighborhood: Lively and fun with lots of wonderful restaurants. Location is perfect for walking to all the sites. Federico is an outstanding host.
